WELCOME TO THE GRAPEVINE HISTORICAL SOCIETY

For over a century, Grapevine, Texas has grown from a small farming and ranching community along the Trinity River to one of the most beloved towns in North Texas. The Grapevine Historical Society exists to preserve, protect, and share the stories, places, and people who shaped this community — from the earliest settlers and Cross Timbers farmers to the merchants of historic Main Street and the families who still call Grapevine home today.

OUR MISSION

The Grapevine Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Grapevine and the surrounding area. We maintain archives of photographs, documents, and oral histories; support the preservation of historic structures; and provide educational programs for residents of all ages.
